I Need Help On Making AMP/DAC decision

I'm not sure what type of combination I want.....

These are all the combinations i'm going for pretty much.

Little Dot 1+/Modi

Magni/Modi

Objective2 Amp/Objective DAC

Little Dot 1+/Objective DAC

I'm leaning towards the Little Dot 1+/Modi combination.

I already know about the solid state vs hybrid state amp, and how they sound and everything.

I have like 6 OP amps at my house, for the little dot, I might as well use them right? lol

Interesting choices... I have being using the ifi audio and the PanAm for awhile, but I have already place an order for the Magni/Modi yesterday, so waiting for it to arrive in the mail...

Mac Book -> iUSB -> iDAC -> PanAm/Gateway or -> EF-3 (Hifiman)

Let me know if it makes a big difference in sound quality.

Will do!!! I have read so much about them, but nobody around me has a set, so I guess the only way to find out is to get a one!!!

I really liked the Schiit M/M stack when I had. It definitely punches above it weight. If you want the tube sound I would go full OTL.

Another option is if your DIY friendly take a look at the grubDAC/pupDAC - great products, and they sound amazing. I did some comparos ont he grub/Modi and was unable to pick them apart.

Hmm... Interesting.... I never consider that option before, I am not very good with a soldering iron... I wonder how hard is it to DIY it?
