I did such a comparison yesterday, between Finder and XLD AIFF, because i wanted to check how practicable it was using Audacity for this. I thought there might be a chance you'd ask a few questions about these methods, and this would make me more prepared for answering them.

And by the way, I found no difference between the two files.

He just wanted to know how to rip Goldie's album, Timeless and not have it sound terrible. I think that question was answered then he made the "mistake" of telling people that ripping from his external drive sounded worse... and all hell broke lose wink.gif
