Need help picking headphones...

Hey Guys... Help a newbie out, will ya?

I want some headphones to listen to music on my iPod (5th Gen). I would like over ear, but if I have to I will do ear buds. I want to spend around $20, but am more then willing to spend $30. I am by no means an expert in audio, but I have always liked bass in my headphones... I like to be able to listen to loud music and not bother anyone else (Whats that called? Noise cancelling or something?)

Anyways, I hope you guys can provide me with some links and help!

Thanks!!!

I am one of those guys who likes a lot of different opinions, not that I don't value yours Mal.

Any other opinions? Or is Mals my best bet??

Monoprice stuff has a good rep, but I never heard it. At that price point there isn't a lot I've heard that I can recommend. Senn 201 maybe? I always thought my Koss ksc 35 were good, but they may be over $20.

I bought two of the Monoprice 8323 headphone, while you can't beat the price and are a really good value for the sound quality.

But one of the headphones did not even work out of the box, (I might of been just unlucky).

The JVC HA-S400 cost a little more ($30-$35), but your getting better (in my opinion) sound quality.
