Violectric V200 or Teac HA-501

I have the following headphones
- Ultrasone Pro 2900
- Beoplay H6
- Fidelio X1
- Shure535LTD

DAC is North Star Design Impulso.

I want to use the XLR connectors between DAC and amp.

Which headphone amp is a better choice? Why?

V200 all the way, not because it's more expensive than the Teac which most head-fier's here automatically generate the logic of MOAR expensive is BETTER.

The V200 just sounds all round better, I had the HFI 2400 which are similar to the 2900 in sound and it sounds just dandy fine off the Violectrics V100/200 and 181. That is until I sold the whole lot off.

I heard the UD-501 DAC with a headphone amp with my T1's. Never heard the Vioelectric amps, but I can say T1's sounded nicer out of the UD-501 than out of a Lehmann BCL.

I'd expect HA-501 to sound even better than UD-501 headphone out.

Probably, although I wouldn't expect a big difference. But all Teac devices sound really nice IMHO. I was especially surprised by the UD-H01. It drove the T1's much better than expected. Plenty of volume at half way on the volume knob, even with silent recordings, so there's a lot of headroom. It drove the T1's with great authority, you could feel the bass had a better slam than usual. UD-501 has a better DAC and even better headphone output, but not by much. Most of the price difference comes because of the build quality on the UD-501 and because it has more features, supports DTS, etc. But even the UD-H01 has a 32 bit burr brown DAC, Muses op-amps for the headphone output, alps volume pot...great components all around.

I like HA-501's features. It has more input output options. However, if V200 sounds all-rounded better. I may go for V200. Any further advise?
