I mean, that power cable is just short part of the long road.

 

 

 

 

Often, if you live in old house, it's best to rewire old internal wiring to something better than lead (i.e copper) if possible, and exchange that lead plug to copper ones, and install AC noise filter and loop breaker if needed. But those measures are for reducing electronic fire, not sound improvement.

 

Or if you live in an old house, do what I did, grab a $89 Furman Power Conditioner, sit back an enjoy!

Indeed, if you got flaky power an expensive cable won't help. If the PSU has too small caps an expensive cable won't help. If the PSU is noisy an expensive cable won't help. Expensive cables usually don't help...

also just saw an add for JPS Labs... read over a few pages... much of the same but without the pretty graphs oh and ofc no prices to be found any where... they must b giving them away ;3
