Can you connect a Fiio E17 Amp/DAC into a PS3?

Just got the Fiio E17 Amp to listen to music on my computer with my HD 558s. Was wondering how and if i could hook them up to a Playstation 3 through the USB port on the front of the Playstation. I tried connecting it under audio device accessories and it shows the Fiio E17 DAC/AMP as the output device but nothing is coming out. Also made sure that multiple output device option is on too.

You can connect the PS3 to the E17 using optical and you need to set the PS3 to 2-channel stereo audio.

Maybe the thread is locked? Hard for anyone to know if you don't share the link to the thread.

Sorry, threads probably dead at this point but where would you find a cord like that? Look at guitar center, HH Greg, guitar center, and best buy and zone of them have that. It looks like it would have to be that SPDIF to an optical digital end. Call me crazy but i don't think something like that exists.

Remember to set the gaming console to 2-channel stereo output.
