Yep. If you have trouble getting some quiet time to listen to open headphones, you might not get to enjoy them a lot very much smily_headphones1.gif

One headphone you might look into is the Soundmagic HP100. It has been getting good reviews lately. For example, http://www.head-fi.org/t/636833/review-soundmagic-hp100

Hello again,

Just came across some Shure headphones. I think it was the SRH 750DJ and the SRH 840. Has anyone tried these? I've read some reviews and based on them, these headphones sound great but are uncomfy at long periods of use.

How would they compare to the MDR-1R?

Thanks in advance! :)

I haven't heard the Shure but the MDR 1r and WS99 are the best I've heard at $200.  The ws99 is a little more comfortable to me, plus it sounds better (obviously imo)

Thanks for the input Trunks :)

To add, I'm looking at other headphones now:

1. Blaupunkt Comfort 112

2. AKG K551

Bah. They all sound so good and I wanna try them all. I'm rattled now. Haha!
