So I just bought a pair of Grado SR-60i's off eBay. They arrived yesterday, and I wore them for about six hours. As I took them off, one earphone just fell off. I can push it back on, and it stays reasonably well, but it often falls off when I take them off. Here's a picture:
The headband has a hole in it, but I can't tell if there's some broken piece inside the earphone, or if it was just glued.
A couple questions:
1. If it was just glued on, what glue should I use to glue it back?
2. I would be totally happy to actually mod them, and put on a new headband with more padding. Any advice/guides for such a mod?
3. If there's a piece missing, I should just return them right? Gluing them would not be a good idea, I assume. Fortunately I have 14 days to do so; I just have to pay return shipping.
Thanks for any advice, sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum.
EDIT: I just used a lot more pressure to push it in and finally heard a "snap"; now it seems fine. Sorry about the thread!
