Just a few crude presets.

It does, but sometimes I just love the warmth it gives, especially to bright phones

Hi folks

I have a question and looked around here in this thread but couldn't find anything about my specific question: is the DN-1000 suitable for a Custom IEM reshell or should I stick to TripleFi 10 (i still have to buy them)

Or will a balanced armature never work in a CIEM?

If I'm not mistaken, BAs are much easier to remold than dynamics. The Dunu would present a challenge since it's a hybrid. That's probably a question that you'll have to get answered by the remolding service.

That reminds me...  I wonder how the Ety HF5 sounds as CIEM.  I guess that's really a better thinking out loud for the HF5 appreciation thread than here, sorry for the nonsense rambling.

Locally?  Unless you're in China, you probably won't be getting it locally.  MP4Nation is authorized (like Lendmeurears) and offers free shipping if I'm not mistaken...  There is no problem with purchasing through MP4Nation.

OK, then is Nati8056 in Singapore, or anywhere near China (I actually don't know)?  If so, I take back my statement...  If not, then my statement stands, there is no problem with purchasing through MP4Nation :p

....huh.  Singapore appears to be not that much further from Australia than China.  I did not know that...  always glad to learn something every day!

Perth - Singapore flight is 5 hours

Perth - Shanghai flight is 8.5 hours

...and I think if I am not mistaken, Singapore - Shanghai flight is about 3-4 hours?

Now why would you want to do that? it is very comfortable as it is.

If you must reshell it, I don't think it's going to be a problem, as there are a number of triple hybrid CIEM out there, even five-drivers hybrid CIEM (UM Merlin and Rooth LSX5)
