Schiit Lyr pre-amp output to receiver to passive speakers?

Hello, I'm quite new here and have a question I hope someone can help me with.

I have my Schiit Lyr connected to my Bifrost  which in return is connected to my PC via USB. I'm wondering if I can use my Schiit Lyr's pre-amp output to a receiver and then to a pair of passive speakers and use my looseless files from my PC to play out of the speakers? IF so could someone recommend me a nice receiver and pair of passive speakers or monitors for around a $1000, I'm willing to go over if it's worth it but would like to keep it around or under since I just spent a decent amount of money.

I was thinking if it was possible it would go like this: PC->Bifrost->Lyr->Receiver->Speakers.

By the way I'm sorry if this question may seem dumb in any way, I've been into music from a young age but just recently got into this whole audio scene, I just recieved my Schiit Lyr, and Bifrost a few days ago; I'm still awaiting my 650's to arrive.

Thanks for any help in advance guys, also sorry if this is in the wrong section I thought it made some sense since it is regarding my Lyr.

1. I haven't tried it but technically am 99% sure you that you will be fine.

2. I only replied because nobody else has in so many days.

3. I use headphone amps as a preamp for my powered speakers and it helps. So I guess it should help you as well.

Thank You
