Sony NWZ-ZX1 - 35th Walkman Anniversary model - Page 329

I'm not too fussed at the moment.  It's at the upper end of my price bracket and happy to hang on to my X1060 until either I get another discount code or some second hand ones start to appear.

Hi Guys,

Could anyone tell me if it's possible to convert flac files ( 44.1 ) to 5.6448 MHz using jriver. ? ( I've converted to 2.8224 MHz using jriver. )

Guys,

I want to sync my iTunes playlists with my ZX1, so I can have the same music on an iPad and my ZX1. Is there a program that monitors iTunes and its' playlists that I can use to do this? I've tried Media Go and Media Monkey, neither seem to pick up the iTunes plalylists. I know I can manually do this, but was looking for something more automated.

1. Make sure the xLoud & Clear Phase was checked in the sound setting

2. Lower down the volume

3. Go to Setting / Apps / ALL / Sound enhancements / then push "Disable"

4. Enjoy!

After disable the Sound enhancements, EQ won't work anymore.

You have to restart the ZX1 to make it work again.

Anyone else tried this? Can you still use an alternative EQ app?

no EQ once you disabled the Sound Enhancement.

What if you're using a third party app like Poweramp?

Anyone bought from YesAsia.com? They seem to be decent value to ship to the UK but there has been some questionable feedback on trustpilot, just wondering if anyone has any recent experience to share?

Got mine now. Smaller than I was expecting, very handsome. Haven't listened yet. Do I need to charge it fully first time?

Yep, about a month or 6 weeks back. Got the free MDR-10RC headphones, but resisting the urge to play with them so I can sell them sealed.

Nope. No need to charge. Just use until relatively flat then charge. Repeat for 2 or 3 cycles. This is usually how I condition my phones etc etc. Once done, charge at will.

This actually works :L3000:

It must be a glitch, I needed about 25% less volume to reach the same level loudness as before.

Mad props to PPCG for figuring this out!

But this does change the sound of the ZX1, It gives you its pure sound without the enhancements. It doesn't sound anywhere near as refined as before, but it has more impact and energy, its nice to know this little trick to hear the ZX1 unrestrained! I actually prefer the sound after this trick, its much more raw, sound stage better too.

Thanks PPCG

Yea it will, zx1 and f886 are the same apart from a few capacitors (better bass and moar power yes plz), and product region has nothing to do with the trick so your fine to do it.
