no it is not listed as £535. it is listed as £479 as i posted

Not according to price japans email back to me.

Sony UK :deadhorse: I have mailed them twice about ordering on their website and they still haven't read my email properly!! 

 

They've just answered again after another 48hr wait, that they can ring me and talk me through the online ordering process :blink: when its their site that is faulty and wont allow the preorder (it does not btw)

 

I have alot of their kit and love it, but their support is dreadful in my experience!

 

I can ask them, but likely get a response like 'well yes, the weather is lovely today!'

do they have a twitter acc you could send a message to? tend to find public tweets get faster responses than non public emails :)

Are you sure about that? I don't believe this device has an international warranty outside of the country which it has been purchased from.

Thats very true indeed :)

 

Spoken to Sony and support lady said, Uk only warranty, not international. She also said the ZX1 was in stock :beerchug:, so I called sales to order ....  :confused_face(1): sales said its not in stock and its European warranty only.. so Amazon DE ok, Japan no....

 

Take your pick on the 'right' answer :biggrin: 

 

Edit: I've placed my pre order on the basis I can cancel up to the point of dispatch, 30 days to make sure I am happy and 6% back from quidco :D

Oh I should clarify "issues" as in subjective preferences and not really bugs or defects etc.  I tried my best to like it as I really want a all-in-one solution for streaming apps like Spotify.  But just never like it enough to hold onto it.

you can get Accidental Damage & Warranty from Sony's UK insurers, it is exactly the same as the extended warranty offered by Sony-UK... pretty cheap, think mine works out at about £24 per year.

Sony UK customer-service are absolutely useless at product info, you're better off asking here.
