you can put them inside a playlist, thats prolly the only solution I can think of

Yeah seems like that play list maybe the only solution.. it's a pain to put hundreds of 1 song into the playlist..

It would be interesting, to me atleast :) if you could elaborate a bit more on your cpmparison of the ZX1 with the 5th gen touch.

Also, have you had the oportunity to listen to an iPod connected to an HP-P1?

How does the ZX1 compares to the HP-P1? Any insight?

Cheers!

I am also a user of HP-P1 and IPC now, had a AK120 before, and wanna to get a ZX1, but wondering how does it compare with HP-P1+IPC and AK120 ?!

Think class D amp as the DAC.

I really like the sound of the HP-P1. And also the user interface of both the iPod touch and the iPod Classic.
I am a full blow apple user for a long time, from computers, to phones, to tablets, to media players.
Although I admit that sometimes a single box solution with a smaller footprint would be preferable, hence my interest on the ZX1... smily_headphones1.gif

Cheers!

Same here, I am an Apple user in all lines from Mac mini, MBA, iPad air and iPhone 5s including ipc.

Without the support of HD music in portable player, I am still looking for HD player from other brand. I had a ak120, but sold it as I like the sound of ipc+Hp-p1 more.

To be quite frank with you, my crappy sounding Archos 5 & 7 also have the "search' feature; however, none of them even approach the ZX1 in sound quality.

Adding Storage to the ZX1

Has anybody tried the Seagate 1TB Wireless Plus Mobile Device Storage? Massive potential additional storage!

Maybe this is a bit harsh but there is really no point in comparing sq... The Hugo wins hands down it it's a much closer call comparing with the ak120/240 ( 240 I have not heard native DSD btw). In terms of sound signature I would say the Zx1 is closer to Hugo than AK daps. The Hugo should be compared to "big gear" not portable gear. Having said that functionality wise completely different -it is not a dap so you need a transport and a few more cables to dangle around.

Having both was part of the plan not one and then the other. I wanted a decent dap I could listen to in a rush and also outboard it.

Yes, it works perfectly via stock DLNA and BubbleUPNP apps.  I have the 2012 500GB model.  That's one the primary reason why the ZX1 is so neat.
