WOW, The DX100 only lasted 6 hours max!!!

Oh please please comment on the comparison between Dx100 and Zx1. That's the last thing I want to know before I pull the trigger...
Thanks.

Thanks.

The DX100 was gone long ago.

What I can tell you I will never ever  go to the DX100 when I have the ZX1.

Bad recordings are not welcomed with the ZX1 !!!! its so revealing.

If you want to drive big cans for six hours , get the DX100. (My ZX1 lasted for 23.5 Hours while playing FLAC (mixed rates from 192 to 44.1), so mp3 might give you at least 30-35 Hours)

If you want to enjoy music with almost all IEMs and some  big cans , get the ZX1, and that is not talking about the slow , sluggish interface of the DX100.

All I can say, is that the ZX1 is made to play music, works out of the box, fast smooth.

Instead of wasting your time reading threads to find a fix for your bug/problem or emailing the manufacturer, the ZX1 just works.

You either love it or not.

I do not like to hype about stuff, esp. my stuff. If it is good I say its good.

Yesterday I spent the whole day out with my girl (I love her so much) and she confirmed that she never thought that such music can come from a relatively small DAP (DX100, DX50, Sony Z), and not forgetting it looked so "CUTE" and "Blinky".

Thank you Sony.

P.S: I marked the hardware buttons with a marker on the case  and it is working, until we get our hands on a good "Usable case".

Update: with my JH16, I can hear something (when not playing) , not hiss but very very low faint noise (my ears are so sensitive)

Thank you very much!
I am currently using a DX50 and am actually quite satisfied with its SQ pairing with my w4r. BUT, its system is just a joke, and is not even funny. Some bugs like "volume suddenly jumps from 1XX to 200+ " are literally dangerous for both my eras and my iem. So I have to find another DAP. I almost get a DX100 for $550. Now, with your comments, I am so glad that I didn't. Now, Price Japan, come on...

If you can wait for the Fiio X5, just in case, as its only weeks from released.

Also in-case you ordered the ZX1, you still need to wait for about 20-25 days till the second batch.

Silly question of the day although does Sony supply a power adapter in the kit and if not what are people using?

Thanks for your review of zx1. i have some questions about the zx1/f111 comboo.

Although they have a wonderful resolution, liquid midrange. The treble is dark, not clear.  When i listen to some capella, i will feel very veiled.

How can i solve the problem? Could they be more brightly after 100 hours run?
