Spill the beans already.  Did Sony decide to upgrade to better screen?

I wonder if Sony Japan took help from Sony Mobile division regarding the implementation on Android on this device ?

The Swedish based Sony division are in the front line of Android knowledge with the Xperia series smartphones.

So long as it works smoothly, I guess it doesn't matter which division did the implementation (no offence intended to those that worked on it).

Hopefully, we'll have some 'first impressions' of comparisons with other DAPs within the next 24-72 hrs (in English, I mean).

This looks very interesting.  For those better informed than I - will this run Android apps, for instance MOG?  Thanks in advance.

Yep

But keep in mind that, according to F886 users, they will drain your juices real fast.

The specs on Sony's website show 854*480. That's not the best, but it's a music player, so not fussed... (I have a first F series generation and the screen is fine...)
