I'll post more later, I'm laughing too hard at your post. You have heard every headphone ever made or owned them as well but in other threads you ask how they sound....AMAZINGLY FUNNY!!!

LMAO you retard, When did I say I loved the LP? Also what has me commenting on the best set up available thread got to do with me hating anything. Instead of being an argumentative little wanker find me 5 headphones like I said; Go on run along before I kick you along lol.

Guys, continue this if you want by PM please...

It is very nice, but definitely not the best in the 40-100 price range.

Just giving OP a very cheap, but still good, option.

Sounds like it's for a girl and forgive me for stereotyping but girls don't usually care that much as long as it's decent.

Sony MDR 7506 with the Beyerdynamic earpad mod. Works fine right from an ipod, but is even better amped.

Not really that portable. Sound so artificial I can't really listen to them anymore. Just my opinion.

If open-back is fine, Grado SR-60i. They'll last you for a looooong time just by upgrading your amp/DAC. If you need closed-back, throw in my vote for the CAL  very nice for the price.

The OP specified over the ear, not portables.

Sound so artificial? They're one of the most widely used studio headphones. Seems like a lot of other people like them.

I guess the funny part is, your sig says you own the MDR V6's. Basically the same headphone. Go figure.

I'm sorry you don't yours any more. Maybe you should put them up for sale. It'd be my guess that someone else would enjoy them.

They don't sound very natural, and have a LOT of grain. Yes own the V6's. Sometimes I need closed cans that leak no sound. I won't sell them because they were my first step into the hifi world. I don't know. I use them once and a while still. They have a really nasty treble spike. They are very cheap, great build quality, and are probably the closest to neutral at that price range.

Of these 3 which would suggest:

-JVC Ha-s500

-Noontec Zoro Hd

-Sol Republic Tracks Hd (they dont seem like they would be good but cant find any bad sound reviews)

used for rap on ipod
