Too bad it's at the 3.5 mil mark. WAH

Sometimes with a popular high profile kickstarter campaign such as this, you'll see contributions within the last 24 hours spike.

EDIT: Sweet Jesus. There will be a Vita and 3DS version! Then again people will come out with mods for the PC version...

Oh boy we're actually about to hit the 4 million mark soon enough! I cant wait!

And with 46 minutes to go theres is a live stream going on

Nice I just missed the mark to contribute to this xD oh well

I can totally wait for it to hit the Wii u!

How much did most of you pledge?

$60.

My ideal pledge would've been $156 to get some of the physical goodies, but the all-digital rewards shall do.

Besides, I gotta put aside some funds for Shantae: Half-Genie Hero and Hyper Light Drifter. Mostly the latter.

how could you! *forever butt hurt* - im sure theres multiple opportunities. Especially with the 4 million dollar stretch being achieved. Way more than i would have expected in the last 48 hours.

@Sadboy - I prefer to disclose the amount i went for, but you can generally say i went pretty deep.

@NamelessPFG I think you made a smart decision, Shantae does look very interesting, and unique to their own aspect. Do keep us updated though :P

Overall i'm a little worried about Capcoms potential lawsuit because the game looks VERY similar to a simple Megaman remake. Especially given the three chosen participants of the "call" design, i'm very worried about the one that represents Roll from Rockman/Megaman which won't help the lawsuit threat very much. But on the bright side, we won't need to worry about any law-suits until the game is officially out. I just personally don't want Mighty No.9 to be hindered by greedy companies and the future for this new franchise / Japanese gaming developers - industries.

Also i was able to snap a quick print screen on mighty no.4 for those who didn't make it.

Summary of the goals :D

Honestly, it seems like there are a number of old MegaMan... projectee's there who might be able to pull some bull on CapCom, you know. "I know my work and this here is something NEW" or what ever. But good point... the worst thing though would be it never getting realeased out side of Japan >.> CapCom forces them not to localize it or something stupid

I hope they some add new school elements into the game. In the live broadcast, Keiji Inafune mentioned Call of Duty. I always desired more 3D elements in 2D platforming games (like utilizing a cover system, being able to block, counter, or have more dynamic weapons in your arsenal). It would be cool to be able to take out enemies with one-hit kills using body or headshot multipliers, powerful weapons, or some system to add an extra dimension to the combat.

-.- did u play through Megaman X1-3

seriously we do not need some NU Skool elemnets trashing up good ole MegaMan platforming, it's all about jumping dodgeing all those hard elements that make platforming fun, it's not about HEAD SHOTS or BODY hits, those violent elements of "war" games do not belong in a MegaMan Game, which this is a MegaMan game, don't care what you call it we all know it is. Just waiting for CapCom [who've abonded MegaMan sadly] to just sell the rights and move on

that said, all it needs is 1080P graphics, although the Zero Series Games has a nice upgrade system.

Can't believe it hit 4 mil. This game is getting all the bells and whistles.

Honestly i decided to do just a tad little bit of research on what people have said, although they also believe that capcom may or may not sue, p4rgaming says otherwise?

http://www.p4rgaming.com/capcom-wishes-they-had-such-a-great-concept-like-keiji-inafunes-mighty-no-9/

Besides, mighty no.9 will have their own aspect especially with the "xel" technology that they believe will change the game play by quite a bit. Seeing how you can steal any ones form at any given moment to get Mighty No.9 through the obstacles/terrains.

I sure do hope with the 4 million they did get, they're able to release the forums much earlier than expected dates of late october / early novemeber.

LOL. Capcom saying they want Inafune back. We won't let your projects die anymore! We want money!

"I'm not attending my Charecters Furneral" said Inafune about the megaman 25'th party. Good job Capcom, kill off ur best franchise and then deny western gamers... uhh all your new franchises? Not sure how they are going to make any money off that but OH well

-.- stupid cap com

Oh yea btw, there is a Monster Hunter Frontier Release to the Wii U in Japan... you know who would pay like $15 a month to play that... THE FREAKING WESTERNERS. But NOPE non for us

Hahah silly us... But yeah i don't know how trusted p4's sources are. Like don't get me wrong, i'm sure there's TONS of Capcom backers from behind the company but we will never know.

To be honest with you guys, i feel a little empty inside now that theres very little/minimal content being shown ever since this kickstarter has ended.  How will i ever get through 12-18 months!

... Watch all the MegaMan Anime they ever made! And re play all the games!

I wonder if they will continue to give us updates weekly like they have been during their KS campaign.

I think Capcom hit some layoffs. Capcom. Please stop killing yourselves.

First Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami is off making a real survivor horror game and now Keiji Inafune with Mighty No.9.

Next we'll see Yoshinori Ono abandon Capcom and make his own fighting game.
