Did another reset, still won't work - arse

I upgraded the firmware via SD card. There is an explanation on how to do that here. If, after trying that, you still have issues, I suggest contacting iBasso. I had an issue and they were pretty quick to respond.

I bought DX50 after reading it had "Delete" feature but I'm disappointed it works only in tag mode and not when browsing directories. I use it regularly on Cowon player so I know what temporary/untagged files I want to keep and what not. I just hope iBasso will enable that.

+1. This would be a logical and great and very handy supplement.

I'm ready with the dual-boot version (rockbox/original) of dx50 firmware, but need some way for end-users to install it.

Actually we have to change/add few files at /system + write some files to /data.

A few tries for installing CWM didn't give me any success, had to do full reflash again and again with rkbatchtool (but that's really easy).

I've used http://files.androtab.info/rockchip/rk2928/20130425/RK2928GENERIC_CWM.ziphttp://androtab.info/clockworkmod/rockchip/install/, tried adb way, repacking stock firmware etc.

Could you share some instructions how to install CWM?

FIRMWARE BUG: The sound becomes worse at low battery level. Stock firmware 1.2.8. No problem with Rockbox.

Isn't that usual for a lot of battery-powered electronics? Logically it makes sense - less battery means less juice to operate components at their potential which for us, means lower SQ.

The sound doesn't change when the battery is low at Rockbox. It's stock firmware bug. I expect that it's Mango Player bug.

I suspect that rockbox can not access the advanced features of the dac/amp. So when power is reduced to the dac, there may not be as much difference?

Maybe

My dx50 freezes at 0:18. i tried this with a few songs and it freezes every time. Reboot/factory reset/reflash fw didn't help.
