Where do I buy Sennheiser hd-650 Earpad+Headband replacement for a CANADIAN.

Fella's. my HD650 pads are in such bad shape after using them daily for 7 years. They are as flat as a pancake and the Headbad literally has no padding anymore. My cans are very uncomfortable.

Problem I find myself is locating a place that sells the replacement parts here in canada. The only place I found online was http://www.headphone.com/accessories/headphone-parts/sennheiser-replacement-pads-for-hd650-hd600-and-hd580.php

They are asking $60 USD for the ear pads and then on top of that I have to pay an exorbitant price to have them shipped to canada.

Guys please if you can help lead me in the right direction here, where is the cheapest place that sells the replacement parts for a reasonable price.

I usually order from eBay.ca or eBay.com instead of Amazon to avoid duties/fee and extra shipping.

Most of ebay items are sent to Canada by USPS which they don't collect duties fee, and shipping is pretty cheap.

Don't know what shipping is like but here is another option.

I got a new headband assembly from Sennheiser Canada. It was around $87. You can get the earpads as well.

Why don't you give Bay Bloor Radio a call?  They should be able to help you out.

Baybloor can suck it. There prices are over inflated for cans. Don't get me wrong I appreciate the advice and if I'm not able to get the replacement parts for a cheaper online then Baybloor would be my last resort. I just am really unhappy with the ridiculous costs for cheap replacement parts that are worth mere dollars that end up selling for 500% mark up.

I already have a solution for the padding on the headband. I am going to infuse 5lb density memory foam inside the padding. That will end up being superior than the cheap foam sennheiser uses. As for the earpads they are in such bad shape that I must buy a replacement. Monday I am going to call Zennheiser and see what they are going t try and charge me, would not surprise me if they try to charge more than Sennhesier USA.

Hmmm.  Okay.  I'm not really sure what you mean about their prices...  Everything is tagged at the MSRP and they can negotiate.  Not sure what else one would expect from brick and mortar store.

Sennhesier Canada will be more than Sennhesier USA.

Original replacement parts are costly, yes.  Buy locally will save you the shipping and the duty (if coming from the US).  You could also give Charles a call at the Headphone Shop.

Best of luck!

Yape, Baybloor sucks.  I usually go there to test drive the cans before buying online or make deals with local retail stores.

Well in the states I believe new oem pads are 44, the head strip thing is like 15 and they charge shipping. So you would be looking $70 shipped in the US for a new set. Factor in another $10-15 to ship from US to canada.

I am sure an American headfier would help you out, if that route is cheapest. Another option would be to buy it in japan, and use a forwarding service.

Amazon.jp has the pads for $32.

Are these even worth looking although they are priced at $28.99 a pair.

The seams on mine are completely gone but at $80 a pair plus shipping seems pretty steep when one can buy a new winter coat for the same. The Canadian pricing on my AKG K701 pads is even higher at $48.95 each!!!!

Ordered the above for $33 Can shipped, should only be a month or so for delivery.:o

But I'll let folks know how they are.

OK, my pads from China arrived today,12 days not bad as I thought I'd be waiting till after Xmas.

Anyway they are well made and fit great, not too sure if they are any different than OEMs as my originals are almost flat and and the seams are gone.

But the new new pads do reinstate the sound stage and tighten the bass!

Now I can properly compare them with the HD700s that are on the way.;)
