^ Welp lets see how it works out then, not like i am crazy dying to hear them just curious.

I think you'll like them, though the Thermalake's are amazing for the price.,reminds me of the steel series flux.

^ Yeppp great description of their sound but i like them A LOT more then the Thermaltake Tts. In fact i kinda hated the Tts even though i got them for like $10 during my slickdealing days and their packaging impressed me more then the actual sound. LoL They were also on the bass-lite side with some nasty bright treble akin to almost the FX40s but the 40s was a big step up for me when coming from the Tts. Here is how i ranked them.

MEElectronics M9< TDK MT-300 < Tt isurus < monoprice iem< Brainwavz beta v2 < JVC HA-FX101< Sennheiser CX250< Apple earpods< JVC HA-FX40 < RHA MA-350 = Philips SHE5105< JVC HA-FX3X< ATH CKS77X< JVC HA-FXD70< Phillips SHE9700< Sony MH1C < ATH CKN70< VSonic VC02 = JVC HA-FXD80 < VSonic VSD1 = Sony XB90EX = Zero Audio Basso < JVC FXZ200 < Sony XBA3 < VSonic GR07 BE ~ VSonic VSD1 LE (Limited Edition) = ATH CKS1000 <~ KEF M200

Didn't even know those Tts got so much hype here, and in fact i was researching up on them to get a better fit, etc cuz comfort was a beyatch on them for me that i found out about The Discovery Thread. LMAO Oh the CoINKoDINK, full circle i guess..... :triportsad:

hahaha well...you'll be greatly disappointed if you think they are better than the VSD1's. Maybe compared to the SHE3580 or Skullcandy 50/50's? ;)

I hope you do like them! I am ready to hear the monoprice set though. I am also very anxious to receive my Xiaomi Pistons and check them out.

Some thoughts on these Deltas from my PMs. Worth a post me thinks......

Deltas seems to be over hyped by some, they are not even in the same league as VSonic VSD1s sound wise. Maybe on par with the JVC FX40s if that (more full without that crazy bright treble, but has less clarity/ micro details compared to the FX40s).

Yeppp the crazy treble on the FX40s ruined it for me as well, that's why i was looking for a complete upgrade to them for the longest time, the ATH CKN70s almost did the trick but the treble on them was a bit bright/ harsh/ sibilant as well. The 40s was a bit "thin" / lean sounding to me, but the overall clarity/ micro details made up for it. The Deltas on the other hand sounded more "full" compared to the 40s but not really a complete upgrade to them. Bass was kinda on the soft side although not bad in quality/ quantity (40s has more resolution and definition on the bass texture for me), mids not as lush as the 40s nor does it have as much micro details. Treble is A LOT better/ more tame though not rolled off, so this aspects beats the 40s for sure, but the 40s sounds more "special" to me compared to the Deltas. Deltas sounds more like your average consumer grade level sound that doesn't offend much nor does it have much of it's own special flavor, etc.

The Deltas are worth about $20 they ask for, esp. with their stock tip. Was able to milk them some more with the green gr07 tips or the RHA MA350 tips, but the monoprice for $8 punches up to the same sound level as the Deltas. The RHA MA350s already best these Deltas in every possible way and they both have the same $39.99 MSRP though the Deltas are on sale for like $20 so....

The Sony MH1Cs are/ were still the $20 budget-fi king for me cuz the JVC FX40s, Monoprices, Delta, RHA MA350 can't top those damn MH1Cs, and even the regular VSD1s is on par i would have to say. LoL Though both sound different....

Well, I've been super lazy and postponing my impressions for quite some time but I'll try to post my impressions tomorrow before my Noble 4 arrives. Anyway, the Deltas are pretty good, the bass lacks a bit impact and thickness and the treble is a bit too laid back but overall the Deltas are winners - definitely better than all other brainwavz iems in this price range and also all meelec iem in this price range - IMO the Deltas are definitely winners for their price. The brainwavz R1 is tuned by like a 7-year-old kid in comparison to the Deltas and I'm not kidding

Yeppp for $20 they are good, but don't really punch that much higher in performance for me. i would put the Monoprice iems, Deltas, FX40, Thermaltake Tts, Brainwavz beta V2, Apple earpods in the same sound league.

Well, they are pretty good yeah, nothing mindblowing. Of course, not so random too, the Deltas are easily more refined than the jvc fx40 without even trying.l  The other funny thing is that as with the R1's double-flange's the Deltas' tips are 100% the same as the meelec rx12, not random coincidence. 100% the same with the color being clear instead of the Delta's white but otherwise exactly the same trips

Hmmm for me the fx40s does some things better than these Deltas, more of a different flavor. The Deltas are more "refined" in that they are UNOFFENSIVE whatsoever in their sonic presentation, which makes them a bit bland as well. The fx40s on the other hand although sounds a bit leaner/ less full compared to the Deltas, they have better overall clarity and more micro details which is one of the traits i LOVE about these fx40s. They were my 1st set of iem that made me hear a HD/ higher resolution sound from my budget-fi sets, these Deltas has good clarity but it ain't at the same level as what these fx40s gives me. In other words I don't get a sense of HD sound from these Deltas.
