yuzhe,

Which amp are you thinking of using with the PHA-2 Line Out (and to what headphones/speakers)?

Are you also interested in using the ZX1 or F880 as a source (using the left-most digital input jack seen in this photo)?

Read the text above the left-most of three arrows in this promotional photograph of the PHA-2.

I've not tried this product but it was on display & it's considerably larger than the PHA-1.

Top: PHA-1
Bottom: PHA-2

If you record in DSDIFF or DSF, for instance at a live performance, a jam session, rehearsal, a low budget recording session, or even field recording, then you might want to hear the recording in the original format. You could use a portable Korg MR-2 recorder, which offers 3 x 1 bit recording formats, and then play back, through this portable amp dac, to get pretty good results.
It's a niche thing

I am very excited for the PHA-2.  It's gonna be a hit for sure!  PHA-2 is the same length as iPhone 5s.

Thanks, that's great news! Then the only thing we need is a review of this little beauty!

My PHA-1 works with iphone only for 2.5 hours, I think 6.5 hours is already amazing! I don't expect portable amp+dac could have longer battery since plyaer or mobile phone usually gets out of battery firstly.
