Thats exactly what i want to know from noble -geezer i want detail and the bass i have on my z1070 i still have it and i love it

You must ask your seller to see if they will do a deal over Customs. The actual cost was not a bug-bear to me as that's what I was expecting, the Z1070 cost the same when I bought it (sadly sold now & missed).

I have the z1070 and it is truly great sounding ..I am interested in the F887 if the sound is as good or even better ..could you do some pictures and stuff if you can..cheers

Lol. Just check to see if there is any other booting mode (flash/ fastboot) besides the regular one.
Btw, just so you know, there's a rooting method already out for the f880. tongue.gif

you got no chance of seeing a F887 in the UK/Europe or USA, check with Sony-UK if the F886 has the Euro-Cap.

I'll do some photo's next week when the PHA-2 arrives. The F887 colour I got was white with a black case, the case is not leather like the WM-Z's, though it looks class as you'd expect from Sony.

C&P this into Ebay.com - CKS-NWF880 - and you'll see the case colours. The F887 is only available in black or white unlike the other models which have a wider choice.

Honestly speaking I have root for my xt890, but for this device since I only want it for audio purposes... I'm not entirely convinced, perhaps when I want to plug in an sd card by means of OTG, that by the way, using a normal WMA port to usb adaptor and then an OTG cable it doesn't work. Tested it myself. I need the official cable to connect a soundcard to it...

By the way, this thing has a microphone, I don't know where but it has one, just tested skype with it and it works, some skype credit and I'm set to go :D

I think I already know the answer to the latter !

I bet it does have the Euro-cap i am not buying a sony player in the uk again because of that,  something is just not right when they do it..it sounds different..

Dude! Just try that adb reboot recovery or adb reboot fastboot. Those commands won't mess up with the internals. C'mon! Gather up some courage and do it!
I just need to know that if I softbrick this device, will I be able to reflash a recovery image.
And how come you didn't know it had a microphone? Even the Z had one. I bet you didn't know that either. :p

Also tell us how's the display compared to the Z's? Is the triluminous tech just a gimmick or does it actually work?

+2  yes, it sounds inferior with harsher higher and limited dynamics range.

You sure are making a lot of assumptions when none of you has the device already. In my case I can say that the sound is quite great and can quite easily tell when I'm limited on dynamic range.

Am I correct to think that the F887 will not go down in price anytime soon? eBay sellers have it around $535 US; however, price japan has it at $434. It seems like the latter price will be sticking around for a while, but please correct me if I am wrong. Also, does the F886/7 have a line out? I remember reading somewhere that it does but I would like to check here. Thanks.

Ok maybe a little off topic but, I'm about to buy F886 and never heard pricejapan, is it safe to buy from there then? shall I buy from pricejapan or ebay?
