I'm assuming that's not the case really as it now states the beginning of november.  You may be able to confirm this but was the initial price £249 and not £259?

Looks like advancedmp3players will be stocking this anyway.

Also do you recommend this over the ipod classic?

I need a new device to listen to my music

Yes, any current M4A files (AAC) from iTunes can be played.

Depends, if you need the storage than this is not exactly for you.  But again we are only talking about 64 vs. 160 Gb...

Have you looked into the FiiO X3 or the iBasso DX50?

Then get the ColorFly C3 and a card for a little over $100.  Plays well, can use SD cards, and it is cheap.

"The NW-ZX1,with 128GB of storage is being marketed and priced as a high-end device at $760. It comes with the same specs as the lower-end Nw-F880 series, and actually does away with several of its features to improve the audio quality" ---http://www.androidheadlines.com/2013/09/sony-unveils-two-new-walkmans-slated-october.html

Not like we don't have a whole thread on the ZX1 already ...

According to the spec sheet at Sony.jp, the Z had an output of 5+5mW, the new F has 10+10mW and the ZX1 with an output of 15+15mW.

So they removed ANC to cut down signal noise but kept BT and WiFi?  That's just make boat load of sense.

Just preordered my F886 from Amazon UK for £210. Never owned a Sony DAP before, so looking forward to this.

Just dropped to £206.00  Now that's tempting to be honest.  The only thing I don't like is the 1-3 months bit.  Wonder how soon (yes I know it's projected for november release but still...) they'll get it in stock.  Am I right in thinking that if I pre order this I still get the lowest price but if it goes up then I still pay the pre order price I ordered at?

Cheers
