You might have to go for 200hrs on the H3.

I haven't done any burnin on the IEM yet. So I will give them a night or 3 of burnin to see if that changes the sound. Brain burn in will happen during the day wink.gif

I believe I am enjoying the Victory more due to the difference in signature which is more like what I am used to listening to.

The H3 does have stronger contrasts than the Victory though and offers more black space. With this in mind I do think the H3 is a technically better IEM and certainly is more scalable than the Victory.

that may be possible.

thank god monster have got their act together!!

Trust me, it'll change even after a couple of days when you think you're used to the sound.

I truly understand where dweaver is coming from...

The H3 does sound good and very enjoyable for most genres.

It's when you compare them closely to a more balanced tuned earphone that H3's shortcomings become apparent.

Having said that, I still think that the H3 has got one of the best sounding treble response in my experience.

why has no one properly compared h3 with gr07??

mk2 will have very less bass but please a comparison with be is must.

in pop and electronic music h3 will definitely be more enjoyable due to more bass but i am mainly concerned with rock and classical stuff and if the h3 is not balanced even compared to victory sport then whats its performance vs the gr07be??

and be is only going for 135-140$now compared to 300+ for h3!!

GR07 BE is better is terms of fit, and maybe in detail, and has a much crisper and sharper sounding treble if that's what you like.

I think the gr07 BE is fantastic, but if I go from a long listening session with the h3 over to the gr07 BE, it seems thin sounding and sibilant. Just the opposite, if I go from a long listening session with the gr07 BE over to the h3, they will sound recessed and muddy.

They are both fantastic, but if I had to pick one over the other it would be the h3 all the way. It should be that way though as it over $100 more expensive.

I listen to everything except country . I listen to rock, classic rock, hip hop, dub step, acoustic, live performances, jazz, classical, techno, alternative, reggae, blues, soundtracks, pretty much a mix of everything you can imagine.

h3=warmer, more bass, better separation and Soundstage

Gr07 BE =brighter, more articulate, better fit, less bulky

i would specifically ask u to compare h3 and gr07 be for rock and classical as i already know h3 will be better for pop.

when u do compare please share ur inputs.

i am saying this as even though gr07 mk2 destroys pro coppers in seperation and neutrality when listening to pop and rap but i never use gr07 for this genre as i don't enjoy it.

pro coppers are more apt for this but it dosen't mean they are better

they still suck.

just for starters can u compare the two for this song??

Will do, all I have listened to for the last week have been the h3 and GR07BE. I'll give my impressions on this song tomorrow.

The gr07 BE for 130 shipped is a steal on eBay right now. The h3 for 240 on Amazon is as well.

I say get both lol

lol,,,,thats why i am asking u for comparison.

i already have gr07 mk2 so i won't be getting be for sure.

maybe if h3 is very good for even rock then i may decide between it and dunu dn 2000 which is going for 350 i think.

but i am thinking of saving up and going for a big,big kill later this year........................ie800

I don't consider myself a bass head , but at the same time I don't like to purchase IEMs that don't have an enhanced bass layer (why I like the GR07BE and didn't opt for the mkII).

I own the dn-1000 and I really like it. The sound signature is similar to the GR07BE. The dn2000 is said to have less bass than the dn-1000, and from impressions I'm personally not too interested in it. Owners rave about the mids and Soundstage, but that's about it. It just sounds like a polished version of the mkII. I'm not to interested in trying the dn-2000 based on the impressions, especially for over 300.

Fidue has a new a83 hybrid. I'm guessing this is going to be pretty damn good.

I really like the h3 because it's beefier in the bass department while still keeping a great range across the entire spectrum. Think of a great warm sounding dual balanced armature iem, now add a subwoofer to it. That's exactly what the h3 is.
