Interest Check: Stax equipment (SR-Lambda, refurb Lambda, SRD-6, SRD-7/SB, SRM-T1)
Will Ship To: Anywhere
I think I'm gonna need to sell off some of this stuff soon. Shoot me a PM with a reasonable offer if you're interested.
(The original Normal bias set. Very good condition overall. There might be some bits of deteriorated foam still inside the earcups, but there's no channel imbalance or any other glaring issues.)
The "refurb" or "beater" Lambda with the green cloth strips on the earpads
(It should be pretty obvious why I call it that. What's not so obvious is that the drivers were rebuilt by someone before I bought it. I don't notice any imbalance, but it's considerably more forward in the mids with relatively rolled-off bass and treble compared to a real SR-Lambda. Also, while it has a 5-pin Pro bias cable, I wouldn't risk actually plugging it into a Pro bias jack unless you want to risk arcing the drivers.)
Amplifiers and adapters:
(117V, confirmed to work with no problems I can discern. Since it has both Normal and Pro bias output, it'll work with any Stax set you can get your hands on, though Omega-series sets may demand more power to sound right than the T1 can offer.)
(Self-biasing transformer box with dual Normal bias outputs, needs a speaker amp. The earspeaker/loudspeaker knob can be a bit fidgety and possibly cut off the right channel if not making good contact, but otherwise works fine.)
(AC-powered transformer box, one Normal bias output, needs a speaker amp. Works fine, but the transformers are much smaller than the SRD-7 line.)
If you need better pictures of anything, perhaps a shot from a different angle or close up on a particular detail, just ask.
