Cypher Labs Theorem 720 DAC: A New Portable 24/192 USB/iDevice/Android DAC & Amp - Page 8

I have had my theorem for three weeks now and I have noticed a slight static noise that comes and goes when connected to idevices especially when using the touch screen. I have tried many different cables with varying success but it's always there. iPod and iPhone stacked seems to be worse. Anyone else experienced this? Is it some thing I have to live with or should I contact cypher labs?

Thanks,
Jim

I notice it on mine as well, seems to pick up interference fairly easily. I don't use mine with a phone so it's not an issue for me. I would contact Cypher and report back here.

Does anyone try this yet? Optimized for sensitive iems. I hope there is no hiss occurs even with very low impedance and high sensitive iems.

I believe that's only an amp, not a DAC and so not really comparable to the Theorem being discussed here.

Oh didn't know that, I assumed automatically that M8 USB input works so Theorem USB input might work too.

You are one great guy Rudi. You are lucky in a sense to get any device and you always help us what is best, what works, what doesn't ;) Thanks man.

The Theorem is supposed to be Android compatible.  I suspect this might be a correctable issue...

Yes Theorem can use with all Android phone or tablets , you must buy 3rd party software for your Android
Now I have The answer from my self biggrin.gif

I remember in cypher labs website , that I have bought 3rd party Software USB AUDIO RECORDER for my Samsung Galaxy note 3 for pair with my Theorem ,
I must buy for my Sony WM ZX 1, if I want pair with Theorem
