Right now, the only trade I'd accept is a D7000 (with obvious cash difference), TH-900 (with a huge discount, lol), K712 Pro, or Asgard 2.

Trade for my girlfriend? Vocals are abundant but can be extremely harsh and headache inducing at times.

But what about her mids/lows? I'm a big fan of a nice sin wave response through that area. The high end can easily be tamed.

You mentioned something about fatigue but I thought that the stock cable was chastised because it resulted in an overly warm response(?). Perhaps switching back to stock would remove the headaches?

Are you saying, for you, it wouldn't be too much... treble?

Well, we know that you have to sacrifice something somewhere. I'd be willing to accept a trade-off. So if you have a nice full bodied low end and lush peaks in the mids, then there's bound to be some sibilance and fatigue in the high end. Heck I may only be able to listen to her for a couple hours at most in a single sitting. But on the other hand I consider it a plus when they're bright.

I get bass fatigue. The stock cable has less control of the bass.... so not exactly a benefit.
