Remove the rubber gaskets with a needle clean out and refill.

Should be reminded that some juices will crack plastic tanks like the Vivi Nova's.

only cinnamon vs citrus flavors (very niche). you can get a metal tank for $5 if you like those flavors.

edit: the reason i recommend mini vivi nova is b/c the most common annoying problem for ppl who switch to clearomizers is leaky tanks. i was super excited to find a tank that never leaks (unless you flood the center lol). vision stardust also was pretty quality, but it would leak slightly if you had it lying on the side for too long. for the nova, I had it upside down in my pocket once & never had a leaking issue. really amazing hahah

+1. yea the problem w/ cartridges are they are so damn fragile & pricey. get some juice into the mid & it's donesky foreverrr. for a clearomizer tank you just syringe-out the juice & it's no worries, so your clearomizer tank basically lasts you forever. just need to swap out the $1 coils every  few months (but you can prolong that w/ dry burns/boiling coils).

Well, I've cracked/melted/disintegrated various plastic tanks using a variety of different juices.

A lot were menthol based, but I do like the Vivi Nova designs and that they can be used with protank heads

and vice versa.

I might try out one of their metal tanks, I'd worry about taste being tainted though.

mmm... i never go menthols or any acidic flavors (cinnamon/citrus), so I've never had that issue. never used a metal tank either b/c I like seeing my juice levels.

i guess you use glass clearomizers then? looks fancypancy... maybe i'll try it someday if i get into those flavors.

I've really moved to the Protank since with the DNA 20 chip I can do sub ohm builds. But I still have other devices and tanks I use.

Destroying numerous Iclear30 I'm put off by plastic tanks.

Just as long as people know that some of these juices will damage plastic tanks. For some it's no problem at all, for other's at

least they'll know beforehand.

Completely agree. I don't get cartridge usage at all.

hey im using the kangertech protank II clearomizer, I know something is wrong with it when I vape. I feel like theres a leaking problem, I know something is wrong because when I vape theres a popping sound like theres liquid in the center chamber. the vapor is also not as abundant as before. my tank is the sigelei zmax v3, I actually like the tank. so for the clearomizer, should I try the mini vivi nova instead of trying to get some more of the kangertech? will it be compatible with my tank?

if you have a syringe I would use it to see if you can pull liquid out of the center. also, you can take your clearomizer apart, clean it in alcohol, and let dry overnight before retrying. finally, it could be a problem with your coil, so if you have a replacement coil I would try swapping it out & trying it out. if you are tasting a burnt taste, you can try soaking the coil in alcohol & boiling it. dry burning the coil is another cleaning option as well, tho it is more advanced & you will need to boil after dry burning. however, bottom coil designs are more prone to leaky and gurgling from my experience.

the sigelei zmax v3 would be your battery (not tank - tank refers to the part of the clearomizer that holds the e-juice). from a quick search I see it is 510 threaded, so the mini vivi nova will attach to it fine since it does not have a skirt.

Just note as said earlier the mini vivi nova as a plastic tank. If you vape lots of cinnamon/citrus/menthol flavors, you may want to get a metal tank.

The popping could be overwicking, if you're getting spit back from too high of voltage or even bad coils. If you're just using prebuilt heads sometimes you get duds.

If you didn't remove the 1 or 2 flavor wicks you shouldn't be getting any leakage. If you had fluid in the center post you'd be getting gurgling and leakage. Also, when you first fill your tank full, you're fine, after a while of vaping when you're half full or less, you'll want to break the seal

to reset air pressure. This helps with leakage as well.
