I still question the generalization about "Chinese people." For one thing, maybe I am a Chinese person - who finds it useful to have a clock. Actually, true.
I didn't say anywhere that anyone should buy a DAP based on a clock. I just added that it that it could use a clock and a scroll bar to make it more useful. For some reason, people have fixated on the clock comment.
In any case, I think i will stop now.
what would you suggest then? maybe I should generalize on a broader scale, or on the contrary - make it more specific? come on dude, how do you think I could express the idea without that generalizing element that seems to be so unsettling to you?
back to the topic:
could everyone be so kind as to do the following regarding the hissing issue:
state if you hear or not hear hiss, what phones you are using and at what gain level and what volume is the dap set at. for example:
person A: I can hear hiss at low gain with my Ety er4 at volume 236. I can not detect any hiss on medium and high gains on MAX volume levels)
person B: I can not hear any hiss with any of my phones on any gain and volume levels
person C: I can hear distinctive hiss on low gain at 200 with ety er4.
this would help us a bit to see if there is difference among the units with the same phones. of course it doesn't consider variables like persons ability to detect hiss, the state of earphones etc but would still be something tangible.
