I'm pairing my DX-50 with a Pico Power and they stack perfectly. The Pico drive the K702 very well and the soundstage is just great.

That's awesome. Any pics I can take a look at? I'd love to see that beastly stack.

UM3X sounds good on dx50. More refine than IPC 6G.

I'll be purchasing a HE-400 soon, was wondering if DX50 is sufficient to drive them? 
 
I have a small fiio e6 amp, but I doubt that will be of much help?

You will need an amp (powerful amp) to drive HE400. Most people pair DX50 with an amp even with iems. The HO of DX50 doesn't sound so good compared to the LO + an amp.
 
If you don't have DX50 yet I think you are better off getting a DX90 instead. jamato tried HE-560 with it and he mentioned DX90 is good enough (borderline minimum) to drive the HE-560.

even with the HO of the dx50,probably its not enough to drive he400? Even with fiio e6?
I considered them since they mention its easy enough to drive it by a iPhone.

MAX volume.  Just be sure you don't mistakenly plug your phone jack into HO- ouch!  I taped mine over after doing it.

im laying down on my bed listening to melody gardot's iemanja fom the absence album through my dx50 and hd669 slux.

i almost cried.. the improvement from my ipod is so clear..

the soundstage is very spacious, the directional cues are insanely on another level compared to ipod, the separation between instrumen is so clear, its so detailed in reproducing every instrument that the moment i switch focus on some instrument, i reproduce it perfectly: how lifelike it sound, from where it is coming from and how far is it from other instrument.. i love it! definitely a wolfson fanboy now

the sounds warm, quite warm actually.. the bass are very deep and punchy hence giving ny ears the warm impression.. the treble are not slouch though but the sub bass are kicking my bright phone's driver.. how cool is that?!

the only thing i dont like are the vocals... its harsh somehow and my ipod's cirrus produce smoother female vocal

3 or 4 days into using my new DX50, I love it!
 
As noted previously, I'm using Rockbox mostly, and it works really well. Has anyone figured out how to get the Random Folder Configuration plugin working? I really like this feature, but it's just counting crazy huge numbers currently, and never stops like it's supposed to.
