Looking forward for your impression mate. I'm still thinking about VorzAMP II or PB2.

10 minutes in (single ended) and the soundstage seems narrower than the Quickstep, but deeper. Nice and clear sound with very hard hitting bass. Rock is a lot of fun on the PB2!

Yeah Ray's amps are not cheap but you got what you pay for. I own different amps from some of the considered best amp makers and Ray has never disappointed me with this one, I can't match his amp no matter how hard I try and I get a dac for an extra 50 dollars as a bonus, you can't beat that. The intruder has an amazing sound signature that makes you listen to the music, tap your feet and forget the daily work drudgery. An amazing piece of technology.

Cool. I've read a lot of reviews of PB2 and I'm reading a lot of negative feedback when it comes to the battery life. DX50/PB2 is bulky so adding a power bank doesn't seem a portable device for me. A desktop rig more likely.

IMO.. Good sound = more juice

The PB2 does suck a lot of juice but pumps out power also. I found the battery life similar to the DX50 so charging both at the same time whenever I can.

Some says it only last for like 6-8hrs. Charging DX50 is not a problem since you can replace the battery. Batteries has 500+ charge cycle then it gets degraded(depending on build/brand). I'm pretty sure ibasso can sell spare battery for PB2.

The only thing I see that might be a problem is strain on the elbow connections when lining up the dual lock fasteners.

This is either going to be brilliant or my worst idea ever:

The only way to go!

Little A/B/C action going on at the house this evening. So far the C3 and DX50 are neck and neck unamped with the BA200s. It's remarkable how similar the presentations are!

When it comes to balanced amp for dx50 has anyone tried the rsa protector? Or know why its 225 dollars behind the intruder
post #9088 of 18426

I bought mine directly from the iBasso website and still did not get the warranty card, hand-written or otherwise :-(

Intruder is both DAC and amp, Protector is amp only.
