That's better than most (330mf) and plenty good for it's intended use.

Please post more often.

Any idea about the diameter of those cylinders? I would throw in something different just to compare, and you can always go back to the original caps.

Would it be double amp'ed if using an external amp?

Just received my DX50 and the first thing I noticed was the fact that the DX50 does not support korean or japanese text at all.. :[

That's pretty much 75% of my songs I can't see the titles of.

Just got mine via DHL here in NYC! Looks good so far!

I just recieved mine.  The left and right buttons both click normally, the center button has less travel and barely makes a sound.  Is this normal among those who have their DX50s?

That should be a bug that they are going to fix really quick. Doesn't sound like the have to rewrite their entire code for that.

I just got mine, and no mine clicks consistently across all 3.

Not if you use the line out, I would assume.

Just an observation...

It seems like there are are a lot of good hardware engineers in the industry but the software end is a little lacking...

That link worked for me.   I am using Chromium on my laptop.  Might try a different browser.  If you are using mobile device, perhaps it is not supported.

I must say that upon close examination, the build quality far exceeds my expectations for a DAP in this price range. Packaging and included components are all first-rate. If the sound is as good as the appearance, iBasso will without doubt have a winner.

Amazingly, I even managed to get the screen protector on without fingerprints, as is the case with my usual efforts. Now, for some listening. My nearly filled 64gb FAT32 card was quickly recognized and scanned.

Must say...this thing sounds pretty ******** awesome.

Here are the things I've noticed so far,

Some of these points have been stated before in the thread~

Bugs/Glitches/Issues

-The UI is very glitchy. In a period of an hour, my DX50 has frozen 6 times. All of which were fixed by powering the unit down.

-When charging the DX50, the computer will NOT recognize the device if you plug it in with the DX50 off and constantly plays the usb notification sound. If you plug it in when the DX50 is on, there seems to be no issue.

-Korean/some Japanese Text not displayed whatsoever. Instead they are replaced by blank spaces.

-My unit came with no manual. I'm not sure if this is normal.

-Someone stated earlier that the DX50 could not remember their previous volume configuration but mine seems to not have this problem.

-My left button does not click very well. It feels like the other two buttons are more recessed than my left one.

-Scrolling is not very smooth but still manageable

-Some of my songs are not playable(They do not contain ' in the title or in tags)

Pros(DX50 Paired with Cosmic Ears BA4F)

-SQ is very neutral and quite clear. The DX50 does a very good job of producing great clarity in songs and I feel like it really adds depth to all my music.

-Build design as stated by others in the thread is superb and very sturdy. It's a bit heavy compared to my Cowon J3 but that's understandable due to it's aluminum enclosure.

-Menu navigation is very easy to use

I'm sure there's more to figure out but that's all I've discovered so far within an hour. Will try to update more as I listen to it when I get back from work.
