@MiniMaster, arhhh.... sorry chap for your mishap. frown.gif

I ordered some little case logic type case off Amazon, I'll let you know if its any good. We need a nice leather case like the AK's have.

does the Samsung battery provide long battery life?

Regarding cases, I have actually been using a hard leather phone case that attaches to ones belt.  The case is actually a little larger than the dx50, but works great and keeps it stable without scratching.  Best part is, I don't have to have it in my pockets.  I have no idea how people tolerate having phones and things in their pockets, with it constantly bouncing around, weighting down pockets, and feeling like I'm gonna break it by sitting down.  I now have my phone on my belt on the right side, and the dx50 on my belt on the other side.  Safe and secure.  :)

It's not a choice, it's just that there isn't anything I could myself find to put it outside of my pocket, pretty sure everyone feels the same. I also have a few phone holders but none that can be as thick as the dx50, how about a link my dear fella? wink.gif

The case I'm using now is the perfect width of the dx50.  It's a little longer than the dx50, so has a bit of breathing space.

It's a case that use to be available at sprint, shaped to fit the original sprint Evo 4g with the extended battery.  Needs to fit the extended battery, otherwise it wouldn't fit the dx50.

Pardon my ignorance, but has any DX50 owner tried the AK100 or 120 case with it? I've never owned an AK product so I can't surmise whether or not it would work.

Thanks, I might google that to see if I can get something temporarily until the silicon case comes out, that will certainly add to the thickness.

Ibasso seems to have a slew of them wink.gif
CMoy type amps will get you there. For the ultimate savings - no amps! biggrin.gif

You may want to rewind few posts back quite a few of us posted some combinations.

With his own quirks. Although now it's a one sided solution. biggrin.gif

Although that amp certainly seems to be stealing the step dance floor wink.gif

Just wondered, I read a lot on this forum but I didn't find much about comparison regarding players like cowon j3

I don't care much about the id tag part, I play with folder view anyway also with my cowon.

How does the DX50 compare regarding the cowon j3? I believe the sound is great but I also read stuff regarding the Equalizer not really functional?? I am not type that like to bump up the base, but now and then I like it with some particular music.

And why is everyone using a seperate amp? makes me think like... is the sound that bad you already need a amp for it??

and anyone experience with the DX50 and shure se425, not everyone is fan of shure in ears, but I like them quite a lot.
