History repeats itself. The same thing happened with DX100 too apparently.

I won't say DX50 is bright at all. It is just not as dark or warm as the typical 8740 implementation. It is still a bit on the warm side esp on high gain.

Sounds good to me!

It's on the DX50 order page. It says 3.1V at high gain which is about 300mW into 32ohms.

Thanks!

Interesting that the dx50 has more output power than than UHA-6S. I wonder if I'll notice any improvement from using the dx50's lineout to the uha-6s.

If you have a ruler around, how long is that?

I know the site states 10cm, but judging from its looks in these pictures, it seems a touch longer.

Anyone else have trouble with digital output of 24 bit files via coax?  I have been waiting for this DAP to use primarily as a DAT to use with my iBasso DB2.

How does this unit sound compared to your RWAK-120S?

The RWAK120-S is comparable to Desktop Dacs in the $1500 +/- and for me, without a doubt, the best portable source available.

A little unfair on the DX50............

Hey, thanks for the offer, but I got a bit desperate and pulled the trigger on a third batch DX50 already:)

So you can skip me and help out another Aussie who is curious about the 50:)

Cheers!
