Congrats, well worth the ride wink.gif

Anyone owns or tried the B&O Bang and Olufsen H6 headphones with the DX50?

Are they any better than similar headphones in the same price range?

The thing with this dap is that when compared to more mainstream source gear (smartphones, sansa clip, PC motherboard sound card etc) the difference is obvious, but only with some better mastered and recorded music. soundstage and imaging aside, timbre is much more natural, there is more energy to the sound (this is especially felt well with songs with high dynamic range, like orchestra) and instruments are easily traceable throughout the whole piece, even if there are many many instruments playing together. FR curve is well, quite a flat line to my ears (which is what I prefer over bright or dark sound) This is the first time I've heard piano sound like a real piano, even through my not so accurate XB90EX or 2.1 multimedia speakers.

I'd say any headphone within that price range would be better...  I suggest you steer far away from those kind of hifi speaker companies. B&O/Bose/B&W, they really only feed off their brand. Their headphones are priced double their true value.

Thanks fantastic site for checking phones up.
I was just few minutes ago at an Apple store & they had the B&O headphones. They did sound very good but construction was ok, nothing to write home about. I also tried the Sennheiser HD558 those were surprisingly amazing and the price quite reasonable. I also tried the Momemtum they also sounded nice but not as nice as the HD558. The pairs that disappointed me the most were the PSB MU2, sounded like very bright and no bass, I passed.

Thanks again for the tip.

Wished they had the V-Moda M100 but they did not.

No problem! If you are planning to use the headphones with the DX50 you are probably going to need closed headphones. The HD558 might sound very nice, but they are worthless when used outside the house. The sound leakage will thoroughly annoy your fellow man, and the open back design will let in all sounds.

The V-moda would be a good headphone for you, but I believe the momentum is rated higher in regard of SQ!

Hey Luke, do you reckon that you could please send them over to me after you are done with them? Is the tour still on?
I would love to compare them to the 1plus2.

I just hooked my C&C BH amp...that I used with the C3 onto this baby.

Absolutely awesome pairing!! Opens the stage up, great clarity, and better separation. I was going to toss down another $260 for a T1...but now I can hold off for awhile.

Wallet is Happy!

I promise the wallet won't be happy for too long as the holiday season is approaching. Your DX50 deserves a "better" amp.

Try the new Leckerton amp UHA760 (coming soon).

I'm trying to update it, but it doesn't find the file update.img when I put it in to the default storage. ¿Anyone had this problem?
