Yeah, I'm sure most of us sold a bit of gear to lessen the blow of the $239!

Nevertheless, your's is on its way soon, and you'll have it in no time! Enjoy it upon receiving it. It should be a step up from your Classic, so you won't be missing that thing, besides its bug-free stability. ;)

Well the money I got from selling this one gear of mine can bought me FOUR dx50 include shipping and still have spare change... and i had not missed that thing one bit! biggrin.gif

But then I just used the remaining leftover money after getting one dx50 to preorder the next (probably overpriced) big thing.... guess I never learn...

There is only one solution for a true learning experience, close your head-fi account and move in a monastery where you'll have to gave up all of those earthly things and vow to never own anything but spiritual things. lmao wink.gif

You're telling him to give up on his audio journey and leave all of his gear behind...you should know, that that's a no-go for an audiophile! wink.gif

You should well and truly know there is no leaving this hobby. smily_headphones1.gif

You're either stable, where you're done buying, but enjoy listening to what you have at hand, OR, you're unstable, where you're still buying and realised that there is no way out. biggrin.gif

I think human nature is to be unstable so we are all doomed biggrin.gif

One good thing so far my wallet does not feel too bad about the DX50 purchase so it's all good. Anyone has any good suggestions for a pair of headphones with the DX50, I saw the KEF 500 and Momentum but not sure what the clear winner is.

I also saw that one rated on this board but not emerging as the clear winner (the reviews looked at maybe 6 different ones with affordable price) I also checked the amazon comments and so far raves are greater with the KEF 500, my problem I don't wanna buy it and return it right away so I am trying to get all of the good and bad stuff about them so as to minimize the shipping.

Do you own the m100? If so how do they fair after some period of ownership? Do they pair well with the DX50?
