that is impossible for me to do :/

what do you mean by resonance?

Well, this is how it goes:

So far it works fine but then....

Back to the top of the whooole list of folders.
Now in need to scroll back down to S.
Not cool.

You're browsing in directory mode - we were talking about the album view

Dangnabbit, communication is hard!

And I wrote directory view in my initial post....oh well.

Yeah that bug still exists and I hate it.
Besides that, I think this player is just wonderful :)

Sh*t, can't believe it. Just ordered one.

I have a DX100, I told myself I don't need it's little brother. Couldn't justify getting one to my partner, I even laughed that although I really want tactile buttons no way would I buy it just because of this.

But it looks lovely and........ dunno but I hate you Soren!

HEY! If I wanted to get the blame for stuff that wasn't my fault, I'd spend more time with my wife!

(The DX50 makes a brilliant portable sidekick to the DX100 - and it's soooo much nicer to use!)

lol....i forgot where I was when banding around terms like resonance.

My JH13 appear to have more of the following:

Punchy:- Good reproduction of dynamics. Good transient response, with strong impact. Sometimes a bump around 5 kHz or 200 Hz.
Sturdy - Solid, powerful, robust sound.
Weighty - Good low frequency response below about 50 Hz. A sense of substance and underpinning produced by deep, controlled bass. Suggesting an object of great weight or power, like a diesel locomotive.

I got it to work finally and got past the media scan. It sounds very good with my jh5 and uerm. My plan is to use then with my next custom which will be a v6 stage but in the meantime I can compare them to the x3 as both are competing products and both can be considered audiophile daps

Good to hear that I'm not the only one who hears the DX50's bass like that - but I didn't experience any audible changes from 1.1.5 to 1.1.6. Not yet at least - a coworker (and Apple fan extraordinaire) ran off with my '50 shortly after I loaded the 1.1.6 firmware. I'm genuinely curious about how an iDevice user finds the DX50...

aha, ok. I thought that By Resonance you meant uncontrolled, bloated sub-base, but if that's what you mean, it's great!!!

Soo, if you listen to a thunder in your iems, it now has more natural and powerful sound, right?

Installed 1.1.6. Ok.
After some experience with AK100, i LOVE my DX50. It is so much better sounding, that makes me much more happy. Burn-in time, also my adaptation to this sound + Ety ER4... mmm... So nice:)

Just updated the firmware. WIth my new class 10 64gb microsd card, the scan time for ~14gb worth of music was only 3min(!). Much better than with my old class 4 card.

I have hiss with my UERMs on my dx50. Highest hiss on low-gain, some hiss on mid-gain, lowest hiss on high-gain but noticeable CPU noise. I'm hoping that I won't have to send the dx50 back to ibasso :(

Also confirmed: viewing by artist database now sorts by albums, but would still like to see an actual artist -> album view in a future release.
