it works very well for me, granted there are a couple of things to improve but it's slick, quick and simple

Ouch, no wonder DMA is so 'willing' to sell, I bought from them also.

Well, my unit has landed in Australia, hands on experience is imminent.

Meanwhile, regarding the other player I ordered 15 day ago.

Firmware:

1) If no new files have been added, skip the scanning bit of the startup.
2) In the "Albums" view, PLEASE sort by "Album artist" and not "Artists". This should solve the issue with compilation albums showing up multiple times as individual albums.
3) In the screen off options, please add "Don't turn off while charging"
4) It would be nice if the DX50 would remember where I left when it turned off.
5) I love the look of the volume dial when turning the volume up and down
6) Much, much better color choices than on the DX100.
7) Why oh why are the on-screen buttons even there? Seriously, they make no sense with the hardware buttons right below the screen

Hardware:
1) I love those buttons. They feel just perfect. I already prefer the UI of the DX50 to that of the DX100.
2) Overall build quality is nice. Not as seamlessly sturdy as the DX100, but very nice. Except...
3) The headphone jack is insanely tight! Plugging in my 3.5mm Viablue, I was afraid I'd break something!
4) This thing is just the right size. Fits perfectly in my hands.
5) More capacity, please. Either add a 64gb option or an extra microSD slot. Maybe for DX50 v2 ;)

I have added songs on the card and it not showing even when I scan it. I get no answers form Ibasso to get it corrected. Why wont the dx50 read my card? It is reading the initial 50 albums on there but not anything new and it also is not the card because my Mac read  all the files on the card.

The DX50 makes an AWESOME portable sidekick to your desktop-bound DX100 ;)
