more samples= more acurate

Go watch the Audio Myths Workshop video on Youtube.

will give it a good listen to the video, its real almost all cant hear above 20khz, this is a fact, but dont get fooled, the khz on this flac, mp3, wav are the sampling of the analog counter (the pieces it picks each second), not the frecuency of the analog wave being repeated every second

That is why i listen changes when compare normal flacs riped from cds and studio quality flacs riped from vinyl (using also good equipment from a friend). Not taking to long, on the dx50 what you hear is better dynamics on the whole sound, just more real than the normal flac.

give this a try, the dx50 have quite good dynamics to reveal this things

I received my dx50 today...3 freezes and one volume spike in the first two hours...not acceptable.

Firmware is 1.2.8.

BTW: www.Ibasso.com is down.

I almost never freeze and have never experienced this volume spike in 4 months of heavy usage. It must be file related?

Is this the myth that because digital samples look blocky when graphed then the audio must likewise sound blocky?
The Audio Myths Workshop video debunks this one, too.

I have owned dx50 for around a month and a half,
It came with 1.2.6 installed.

I havent faced any serious problems, i installed 1.2.8 still flawless,

I even went through customs by doc2008 , and didnt face any sudden volume changes.

May be for once it just restarted on me, and other small issues like closing and openning on diferent song.

But about the volume change , does it change for the rest of the song or only a spike ?

If its a spike may be it is a problem with the song try to open it on any editing software may be its a spike on the song, but also alot is reporting this issue so it might be serious ??!!

The only problem I've had in 2 months ownership is the botched gapless in 1.2.6. No freezes or hang ups (well some inconsistensies with otg play but don't use that anyway). Playing flac 16/44 or better from Sandisk 64GB class 10 cards. Am only using it with an amp and LO with max volume so have not experienced the volume spike.
