I upgraded to 1.2.8. I like the SQ, but I do not think this player does well with cold temp. I walked to work today in NYC. The temp was about 10 deg. I had the same problem with the volume spikes! 2 x this happened and nearly took my head off! Please Ibasso fix this issue once and for all. My plyer seems to crash a lot when I take it out into the cold air??rolleyes.gif

does the screen faces to your body in your pants? (if you carry it this way)

Was the player locked when this happened?

I have used mine in a cold hockey arena (-10F outside no heat in the arena) inside pocket of my coat and once in my front jeans pocket and have not had an issue, player unlocked, so I could skip forward songs.

I had that happen but the screen wasn't locked so somehow I pushed the volume. With it locked, never a problem.

Hello all. The player was in my jacket pocket. When the volume spiked it froze the player. I had to reboot the player.

OUCH!!! I disconnected my amp to charge it, then went to watch some TV. Came back to my DX50 and plugged my iem's in and turned it on. Then hit play, and promptly hit pause, cuz I forgot to turn the volume down. I'm an idiot I know...but that hurt just a little.

All is well no permanent damage to the hearing...:o

I've finally learned to check the volume before listening.  Fortunately I learned while I still have some hearing left.

Thing is I can't afford to lose any more hearing at this point!

Would vote for a fix to have device remember Line Out vs. Phone Out volume. Most unpleasant to blast the ears!

DX50 already remembers the volume level. It's just the HO and LO shares the same volume control.
