Before I post this, let me apologize, I usually despise "tracking" posts, LOL. But ibasso/ DHL seems to have bungled the 4th batch shipping somehow.

So...

Has anyone in the US received their 4th batch unit? My tracking still shows "shipment information received".

I emailed ibasso and got the response that has been posted here before- that the courier may have changed the tracking number, and my unit should be on its way. DHL says as far as they know the package is sitting in China and nothing else is showing in their system in my name.

So just wondering if anyone in the US has received their DX50 while the tracking still says "information received". Thanks

I received my fourth batch unit yesterday from dhl. There were about 26 steps tracked to get the unit here. Perhaps your unit did not make the cut before the Chinese holiday?

How do u like ur V6 with the dx50? put an order for v6 as well, so i was curious

I really like the v6's. They were my first custom iems. I got lucky and had a good fit and did not have to send mine back for any modifications. I love the isolation and comfort for long listening sessions. They seem to pair well with the dx50, although I have only listened to the unit for a couple of hours. The isolation is great if you want some quiet time for some serious listening. I have three boys that continually fight so quiet time is good.

I can say that the dx50 is brighter than my ipod classic. It is really to soon to give my final impressions. I have some experience building my own audio equipment. The output capacitors need some time to settle in. I am assuming some of the brightness will go away with time.

alright!!! finally got my dx50! just finished updating it to 1.2.0, lets take this sucker in for a spin! 

Alright... I know this has been brought up in this thread before... But where do I get the 1.2 firmware version?

@Breadvan.  Before re-tagging a bunch of stuff, try the Copy In Order suggestion from Sorensiim.  Playing in order has worked fine for me on the 2 albums I listened to thus far.  And I know that it would have driven me @peSh*t if the songs were out of order.  So I plan to use copy in order until someone says that it is no longer an issue.

I sure don't want having to specially tag my files again just to be able to use DX50, after all I bought it for music not for tagging lessons

Nothing yet, I have went there had a tour and listened to all of there different models and for the price it was awesome. I'm still hoping someone would respond. I'm sure I will get them as I've always wanted some customs, I have the DX on the way so maybe I will go there again and test it out.

few first insights and questions:
 
*I'm using the Beyer 770 pro 80.
*Latest version - DX50Firmware_V1.1.6
 
 
1. confirmed - I have a hiss on 24bit files and it can be heard on quiet music such as R.E.M's  New Orleans Instrumental No 1 (from Automatic....)
2. I copied my music straight into the main folder. what's the LOST.DIR and .album_img folders stands for?
3.for those who use an external amp, on what volume do u put the DX50 at? all the way ?
4. yes, the firmware still needs alot of work.
5. LOVE the sound stage. my 16bif files sound so good campared to the COWON, it's such a different level.
6. I read few asked for the Firmware_V1.2.0 . is it better than the current 1.1.6 ?
