If you have DX50 and H-200 by all means I can easily recommend adding the little amp. Mainly because H-200/BH have already made crazy synergy recommendations in the main C&C BH thread so feeding the amp a clean signal like DX50 offers you instant win/win. Another IEM that goes well with BH amp is TF10, very good synergy there.

I could not recommend BH amp for ER4S lovers though, they're much better off with T1, for example.

Thanks! I love ER4S. I will consider T1 in the future.

Also, thanks for pointing me to T-Peos... I just found that I cannot buy them in Hong Kong.... interesting.....

Anyone can purchase H-200 directly from T-Peos, they ship worldwide EMS 2-3 day delivery.

Reagarding the little BH amp. I was reading two storys recently from different members, just to put the amp into perspective for everyone. One member went out and purchased some amp by Vmoda, I don't know the name, anyway he paid $400? for it, after trying it turned straight around returning it because he preferred his BH amp.

Another member purchased  Leckerton UHA-6S.MK2 and admits he enjoys the C&C more lol. It's because of the LF feature on the back which some call a "cheat switch" it increases clarity and bass impact. Both admitted however if BH didn't have that switch they might think differently. That's just to shed some light on the amp for everyone and the crazy storys I read about it. Just one of those freaky little pieces of gear.

Anyway, back on topic for me!

No, I wish I did still, having owned x2 pairs in the past I just know TF10 would pair well with DX50, I have a sure gut feeling about it. Especially if you threw a silver or silver plated cable on TF10 lifting that tonality further towards cool and transparent. (for my tastes) I think they'd make a really good rig for the price. I might get another pair one day, just need to find a decent price, as I wouldn't pay over $140 for them and H-200 is clear upgrade imo.

Personally I didn't really like the TF-10 but I did when I had it and grew accustomed to it's sound.

I can certainly see why people would like it though.

Hi Rudi, don't mind if you can compare RSA Intruder vs PB2?
Which one sounds better with DX50.
Thanks so much.

Mine arrived yesterday. Sounds fantastic with the Westone 4Rs with T-100 tips. :)

If the charger is not connected , you hear SQ from your battery
You can test your charger if you connect to your DX50

My DX 50 full set up :

Source : IBasso DX 50 as transport
Dac : IBasso DB 2 full mod diy
Amp : RSA the Intruder
Iem : Earsonic S EM 64
Ext charger : Vivan 12000 mAH
Cable : Venture Cradt coax cable
Diy soils silver cable hiroshe to RSA balance

DX 50 coax out > DB 2 coax in
DB 2 balance Hiroshe line out > intruder balance RSA
I use single ended Heaphone out

Fully balance in and out is the best

SQ : the best dx 50 set up I have tried

High : more extended and refine , more pronounce
Mid : sweet and better clarity and analog
Bass : better bass body and impact , fast speed Bass
Separation : better separation than my another set up with DX 50
Soundstage : wider and more depth
Black background : the best black background

Intruder as amp is better than PB2

My IMO

Once month later I finally received my DX50 via DHL! Funny thing is that the two previous "failed" shipments via EMS also arrived meanwhile; I'm sending them back to iBasso for two future customers to enjoy :)

Philippines residents: I urge you to ask iBasso for DHL. EMS is a mess and the packages were hold "for inspection" at the customs office in Pasay = headache and rip-off guaranteed.

DHL delivered in one week, but with $40 fees (for something declared $22....) - overall acceptable.

Superb build and nice sound so far. I'll post impressions once the new-toy syndrome has worn off. Thanks to everyone here for the bug reports.

Rudi, great setup! Agree on Intruder, its great for iem and full sized cans. Thus, almost triple the price of PB2.

For anyone interested, mp4nation is providing heck of a deal on the dx50. If you order now, you will receive a dx50 from the sixth batch (October 23rd) and a free pair of the new dual dynamic Brainwavz R3 iem, which itself costs $130 (this offer lasts till October 25th when they will be shipping the 6th batch dx50s). There's also free 2-day Fedex shipping to select destinations or free airmail international shipping for the other countries. And if you still don't know the 5% discount  fb2012fiver code still works, so it gets down to $241.77, which is still cheaper than getting it straight from ibasso given that you don't pay for the shipping.

Somebody ought to put the question of whether different batteries/power banks/chargers have any effect on sound quality to rest (but of course in the Sound Science threads).

Is plugging in the DX50 via the samsung desktop charger supposed to improve the SQ? I did that and mid-song, I pulled out the plug and didn't notice any change at all.

Copped an accidental blast from DX50 line out amped earlier this evening. The way I was holding the rig my pinky finger slipped on the volume pot, I copped a really loud blast for about 3-4 seconds before I could finally reach and rip the headphone jack out. My right ear is not very happy about it and letting me know, so no more DX50 for me for a day or so.
