I don't want to create a new review thread... Just post your comments here.

Whoa, ok, this is a new development on me. I'm in Winnipeg and as of 10:50 Friday morning my DX50 arrived in Vancouver via EMS and is waiting to be cleared by Canadian Customs. Is there anyone on thread whose Canadian who went the EMS route and didn't have their package sent back to iBasso? Right now I'm worried the package will be rejected and sent back. If I ask iBasso to remove the battery and leave it unplugged outside the player would there be a problem getting the player through customs?

Just posted my brief impressions:

I usually don't write reviews, but I hope that will be useful to some people.

One change I have noticed since updating the firmware is that shutdown takes a little over a minute to complete.

Hey DF, I'm fairly certain customs don't open anything up as long as it's not marked as a gift for "$50." I've had huge packages from all over the world, including China, that flew through customs within a couple hours.

Also, Canada doesn't have any rules about battery imports I believe. That or they just don't really care. I've NEVER had a package rejected or held by customs for years of countless shipments. It's just China and Japan whose rules for shipping batteries is finicky.
