I'm just off to my local safari park to give my sd card the rub down :)

God Rudi at the beggining i was maybe able to believe that there is some difference between the batteries.Maybe. But then the charger, micro SD card etc. Come on you have so much equipment probably much expierience i dont believe you can possibly hear any difference betweend class 10 toshiba and san disk. Information on cards is digital not analog . Maybe you're just trollin but man its getting tiresome. This is my IMO

Isn't this the same argument with USB cables?

I don't think Rudi is forcing anyone to believe, he clearly states it in his IMO, just as you have yours so does he, but do you see Rudi posting back at you saying you're wrong? So why should you?

For me, gain setting is genre/recording specific.

High gain = Classical

Mid gain = Industrial Metal, Jazz

Low gain = mainstream pop.

The only real difference I've heard was the hiss. And the hiss is way lower on high gain than low gain, so high gain it is.

there is much and many things not totally explainable, after all musical gear is all about clean current whatever it means. differences can be subtle and for one someone might not believe or hear it but that does not mean some another person would not.

yes, i am bit sceptical about sound influence from msdxc cards but after all that depends on many things, including static and etc.... Just IMHO

How do you play all music in the selected folder? I have a folder contains all Sting songs but I can't play it unless I go into the subfolders which is seperated by albums. I need a way to play all music in all subfolders in the Sting folder.

Also is the search function available? I can't seems to search for the song I want.

A few have said they hear a difference. Some also prefer wav. All plausible. IMO

i think the toshiba class 10 is just a good microsd since some tests reveal the reading and writing speed of toshiba class10 is better than sandisk. but i dun think this will affect much on sq.
the battery will affect the sq more since a cleaner and steady voltage / current will affect the circuit performance.

Seems to have got lost in the Debate about SD Cards...and whether there is a difference in sound between different makes and sizes.......SURELY that is a debate for the Sound Science Section?????

Anyway here's my question again....

Has anybody paired their DX50 with a Leckerton UHA-6S.MKII?

I'm thinking of getting one of these to pair with my DX50 either by line out or via Coaxial. I also believe that the DAC will work with the iPad via an Apple CCK and also if I want to as a USB sound card for my laptop via USB.

Interested In hearing anyone's opinion on how this sounds with DX50 via LO or CoAx and also how it fits size wise against the DX50.

Is that a Leckerton UHA.6S MkII amp? if so how do you think it pairs with the DX50. Have you tried the Coaxial out from DX into the UHA??
