How do I know which batch my DX50 is from? I'm going to buy a used DX50 from a friend but hesitate since there seems to be differences between batches. Preffereably, I'd like to get the ones from 4th-5th batch or later since they're more stable by then. Please help me decide.

I don't think that it actually says, but as far as I know, iBasso hasn't confirmed that there have been any changes at all.

I read somewhere in this forum that the first few batches even have different sound than the laters. Don't know what cause this. Can you confirm me about that?

I read that on another site, but I can't confirm nor deny that because I only have a first batch DX50. iBasso say that they haven't changed any internals and I don't see any reason to doubt them.

I would like to add iqube v1 or SR71a to DX50 drive j-phonic k2 and ASG-1.

Does it good?

The only thing we can confirm is that those impressions are made by one person and is subjective. so yeah, just get the one from MP4nation. you will also get a good earphone for free (brainwavz r3). what kind of more deal do you want? :D also, those are the newest 6-th batch...

OMG!!!

Just received my DX50 in the post this morning. Initial impressions are amazing.......great size, great build, good functionality (not as good as the AK120 though...touch screen is extremely sensitive). Currently running 1.6 (whatever) firmware, but thought I would leave it at this for now and see how it works.

Inserted my MicroSD card from my AK120 with a combination of Hi-Res and Standard FLAC / ALAC files and fired it up......WOW. so far its working pefectly with no issues reading all my tracks, album art etc and MY GOD does it sound good!!!!!

I'm using my Custom AUD-8X IEM's and this is definately not that far of the AK120 soundwise........There does seem to be some background hiss at low volumes and between tracks (which i dont get with the AK120)......but initial impressions are that this is an amazing piece of kit, which falls only slightly short of the AK120 soundwise and funtionally.

I now wonder what it would sound like connected to the iBasso D12 via Coaxial and using the Dual DACS of the D12????

I've got the same here. How long would scanning a 64GB MicroSD which is full of FLAC files approximately take? I left it running for around 10 minutes, but it didn't go beyond the "scanning media" screen.

I'm using a full 64Gb MicroSD Card with HiRes and stadard FLAC and ALAC and mine seems to scan the media in less than a minute. All my files seem to be there as well....so I assume its scanning correctly
