The iBasso DX50 Thread - Latest firmware: 1.5.0 - Page 213

I'm surprised more people aren't talking about the uneven output impedance measurements from a few pages back - if those graphs are accurate, this may not be a good player for low impedance IEMS. Maybe somebody else can do a measurement to confirm whether those measurements are accurate. It is a pretty serious issue if true imo, especially since the claimed output impedance is < 1 Ohm.

I don't notice much of a treble rolloff with my UERMs, and they're VERY responsive to output impedance. Would be nice if some other people can measure it to confirm though. Even if it doesn't have <1ohm output impedance, it sounds fine to me.

I was under the impression that the DX50 would be a one-stop shop for IEM users...I was wrong.

That is exactly what I was thinking when I bought it.

well, look like iBasso had a homework for their next firmware update.

Yes, sounds great no amp needed

This is my first purchase with iBasso and I already HATE the DX50.

This is the 8th follow-up mail I had to send them:

Guys,

we need to find a solution to this together. I know it's Chinese holiday and stuff but your Third attempt to send my purchase has not arrived. Actually according to DHL it has not left HK.

Meanwhile 4th batch customers are receiving their purchase. I was in the 3rd batch. From head-fi:

Last53: "Mine was picked up in Shenzhen at 20:22 on Sept 28. Just Arrived with $15.00 due. Those DHL folkss are fast."

okan: "I received my 4th batch dx 50. I live in Toronto. DHL charged 18 CAD."

IceOgre: "My fourth batch unit just arrived via dhl. Can't wait to get home."

Is there a problem with shipping to the Philippines?

I hope your COO is copied on this discussion and will take time to solve this problem which has already taken too much of my time.

Best,
Adrien

I'm looking to purchase myself a UERM in the next few weeks. Have you been able to listen to your UERM with any other sources/amps?

Not really iBasso's fault though...

Try another shipping company this time.

Oh, I did! The first two DX50 were sent via EMS. They both "disappeared" somewhere in Guangzhou.

At this point I have a hard time believing the problem is with the 3rd-party logistics.

I couldn't find a card reader on hand that would read my Patriot 64gb micro sdxc card, so I had to load 30gb of songs through the DX50 to my sdxc card. It took 2 hours and 30 minutes. Does it take you guys a long time to load songs onto the DX50?

Yes It sucks to transfer songs via usb. It transfers like 3 or 4 mb/s. Unfortunately I lost my microsd card to sd card adapter. Tomorrow I am gonna buy new adapter.

Hey, you still rocking it with D12? Hows it? I have been listening to the dx50 with the db2/pb2 combo...even with single ended iem, the soundstage is so spacious and the sound is so refined.. I even like it better than my 901 bal card.. Ibasso does some awesome dual 8740 implementation which i hope its the same case for you with your d12...
