I'm guessing using my 5v 1amp Samsung S2 charger will be a better match?

I have a selection of 2A chargers strewn around the house, at the office and a spare in my bag. One of the perks of being an Android fanboy and general technophile.

This dude has a youtube review on the DX50.

Thanks,

I tried one of my 2amp chargers which is apparently made for iphone and the player become rather hot, kind of past warm.

I decided to unplug it.

It took a charge though because my player has been running for almost a week. (of low use)

Btw: Hail the Droids! ;)

I have been always using my 2.1A usb charger for the new ipad to charge the dx50 (ak100/120 also) and while it is slightly warm it is never to a point I m concerned.

Just make sure u don't put it on your bed etc when charging anything.

I bought a bunch of HP touchpad chargers back then when they were on clearance.  Great quality 2amp USB chargers, I have them all over....car, home, office, etc, very convenient to charge all of my portable devices.  Works fine with the DX50.

And yeah, glad to see android fans, refreshing on these forums.

Hmm, I've never had something become quite this warm will charging, I could of been paranoid with the device being so new etc. Also, the 2.1amp charger is very new in this house hold which made me uneasy. I'm going to leave the Samsung S2 charger and wait for a complete charge.

For the folks having extra batteries (eventually every one) a battery charger is a must and they are pretty cheap.

About two hours after changing to the Samsung S2 charger, remembering it was plugged into a 5v 500Mah charger for 4.5 hours prior to changing over. I will use the same charger from now on and get better calculations.

IBasso replied about my battery indicator request and said they will make it more reliable (no clear answer as to how) on the next firmware.

My battery indicator is still stuffed as well after a lot of cycles.

Thanks for the info and thanks for the welcome.

I know I have spammed the DX100 and Heir threads with this album, so please bear with me if you've seen me recommend it before:

I don't usually like live recordings, but this is just too damn good. An absolutely masterful recording, because it isn't flawless. I saw the band perform on this tour and the recordings from the different venues let you hear the music as it sounded live that night. Not only can you sense the different sizes of the venues, but the little flaws as well. That, to me at least, makes it feel a lot more real than the over-engieneered perfect studio recordings we audiophiles usually crave.Want to enjoy the music while listening for the width and depth of the soundstage and all those little details? Buy this album. It's even available as a lossless download here: http://www.finkworld.co.uk/store/music-store/fink-wav-store/

I would especially recommend the tracks "Yesterday was hard on all of us" and "Trouble's what you're in". Oh and the drum on this recording of "Sort of Revolution" will hit you hard and deep ;)

Edit: If you don't know Fink - This is what they do:
