Thanks!  I was just listening to Steely Dan, the music was really sounding good.  The Dunu's are a step up from the TF10's, and the DX50 is much different, timber-wise, from the C3.  I'm finding that rock music from the 60's and 70's sounds much fuller, but stuff from the late 90's on really has all kinds of stuff going on in the low freq. edges.  I've got some George Michael stuff (From the Heart, From the Feat), and there's all kinds of interesting stuff going on around the music.

Thanks again to those that pointed me towards this player (and, originally, the C3).  I'll be selling the C3/BH combo here, I hope, if someone would like it, at a good price.

Is that IC a DIY job or is it available from somewhere online?

EBay  Search for onest11 in interconnect cables.  He's (I assume he) is in the UK.  Pricey, but quality.  Fast shipping to US (at least to me).

Here, try this:  http://www.ebay.com/usr/onest11?_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2754

If you look at other offerings (e.g ALO) then you would think that is a bargain. Regardless, interconnect cables are really not difficult to make. I you have done soldering in the past, just go DIY.

Oh I know about those, and I've been thinking of getting a new soldering iron lately...

I bought a different cable for about $25 US (see my pic of C3/BH.  These are, arguably, better.  Twice as good?  Probably not, but they sure fit better in terms of length end to end.

It would be fun. You can get the result exactly as you want it.

Anyone want a near-mint DX50? I want a DX90 so having a DX50 will be redundant.
