_Stadium Arcadium
___Play All
___Disc 1
___Disc 2
Play All is at the top of every directory. I would really like this.

This is how apple products work if you need something to reference. This is how every player's directory structre should work. I often want to play everything in a 2nd level directory:
_Root (Top/1st level)
__Artist (2nd level)
___Album1 (3rd level)
___Album2
___Album3
Playing by Artist does not solve this problem, as many artists have "with" or "featuring" or "and" in the artist info and thus the player reads it as a separate artist. I just want to throw all the "With, And, Featuring" in 1 directory and be able to "play all" at any point in the directory tree.

Also I would really like this and proper "Last song" in random play to work with 2.0.0 (Fiio/apple/Creative/Sansa all work this way, probably others too...)
When in random play, assume this track sequence
1
3
2
assume I am currently on track 2 at the end of that list and hit "Previous track", it will go to track 1, not track 3 like it should. (it goes to the track immediately above the current file when looked at in directory view. Dumb. It should go backwards in the same sequence of tracks as it played). Are there any plans to address this?
This is also how Apple's random play (and everyone else I can think of) works. I dont care for apple much, but they got their playback functions much better refined than iBasso. (as they should since they have 1000000x the budget, but all ibasso has to do is copy how it works. It cant be that hard to do).

These are really my only remaining beefs with the player. (and USB DAC functionality, but thats coming I hear) Otherwise im still in love.

Nah. I listen to folders. One album per folder. No need for scanning and it works perfectly fine. What if someone doesn't organise his music the way Apple wants him to?

It already exist. On each directory, if you click on the icon on the left (for example an artist, an album or a genre), you have a new menu where you can play all the songs inside the category.

Yes but that only works in database mode not when browsing the directory structure

nc8000 is correct. I know about the "play" button in the My Music menu. I do not care about that. Here's why:

I will use Clutchy Hopkins as an example. Within my "/Clutchy Hopkins" directory, I have:

Clutchy Hopkins (3 albums)
Clutchy Hopkins meets Lord Kenjamin (1 album)
Clutchy Hopkins with Sean Lee (1 album)
Clutchy Hopkins with Misled Children (1 album)

Under the My Music (artist/album/genere) menu, those 4 all come up as different artists, even though their music is pretty much the same. I often just want to listen to a mix from all his albums. Currently, there is no way to do this without combining them into 1 directory. I refuse to do this as its bad folder orginazqation IMO. Im anal about that. Other's probably dont care but I like to have an orginazed player as I dont change up my music that much.

Thus, I humbly ask iBasso, Please add the "Play All" option at the top of every directory

Good idea, best with them is to email your request, it's not guaranteed they'll do it but at least you can get an answer.

Got mine today.  Came with the newest firmware.  Popped in a new 64gb mini card and it recognized everything immediately (using folders).  Tried playing various files, worked flawlessly.  I also got new Dunu 1000's and they seem to pair well - still playing with spacers a bit, but I'm using the Comply's (as I have for years on my TF10's) and am getting the sound dialed in.  I've got it plugged in to my JDS Labs C5, full volume on the DX, no clipping so far that I can hear.  Tomorrow I take it for a walk (which is where I listen to music), we'll see what it can do.  But so far have to say I'm pleased.  No muss no fuss setting it up.

Any further words on the DN-1000 / DX50 pairing? Do you feel the amp is needed? :)

It's not necessary but it improves with one. I'm sure you've heard my ramblings of the DN-1000 and O2 :D.

I own them both. (DX50 / DN-1000) ;) I prefer not using an amp, as DN-1000's 10ohm impedance isn't really required from a power perspective. Flavouring or seasoning the sound avoiding DX50's amp section is agreeable though, I believe oldude only received his new toys most recently, I'm trying to gather some further thoughts coming from his TF10. (which I also own). ;) Just after the inside scoop what he thinks of the upgrade.

Ah, the TF-10 brings back old memories... One of my first truly highish end pieces of audio gear.

Five years ago I wanted a nice set of headphones, so I bought a used pair of Ultrasone HFI-680. Sure, they were expensive, but I loved those cans to bits and enjoyed the hell out of them. Then I made the terrible, terrible mistake of wondering if things could possibly get even better, so I joined Head-Fi and started browsing the forums...

I write this listening to the DX50 connected to the PB2, driving my Noble K10 through an SPC balanced cable while eagerly awaiting the arrival of my PB2 topkit and the DX90. Perhaps I should pop in my 8.A with some dubstep to pass the time?

And I'm listening to the HE-500 through a DacMagic Plus, M-stage and Silver Poison cable. I've come a long way from that those IE8s and Clip+ for sure....

Rocking to "We The Kings".

I'm on Portishead's album "Dummy". It's about my sense of financial responsibility.

Seriously tho, Portishead and trip hop in general is fawsome on the K10. So much detail, such a soundscape and then that foundation of deeeeep bass. Love it.

You know you will get into full sized eventually right? Wished I could hear a K10 though. It seems like one of the best IEMs along with the Roxanne, Mentor and 1plus2.

I quit full sized and got into CIEMs ;)

I listen almost exclusively at work, for long periods (6-8hours) at a time. Being in an office rules out open cans, closed cans get warm and no full size can is comfortable enough on my noggin for me to wear it for so long. CIEMs on the other hand, just completely disappear when you insert them. If they're done right they fit perfectly in your ear with no pressure or strain anywhere. The only thing you feel is the music.
