Many of the 3rd party cable manufacturers can make you such a cable at wildly varying prices

If you are in the UK then you can get one here.

I went for a toxic cable on instead but it was £50 more expensive

All my cables are from Whiplash and they are great but not cheap. I have no experience with any other manufacturers. In Denmark we have a local head-fi'er who make very good and very reasonably priced cables

I'd be wary of Whiplash. If you check the cables forum some troubles there.

personally, my experience with Craig and whiplash has been really good

Craig and Whiplash (and their customers) have had their share of problems over time but have always come through in the end, at least that's my experience. And the finished product has always been top quality

Any DX50 users out there pair with the ALO National?

@musicheaven you've had the dx50 open, is it possible to custom mod a RSA balanced connector?

Edit: wasn't thinking, this can't be done.

Yep, moi.    A very handy pairing indeed - I use mine with the HP50 and the Fidelio X1 mostly, and occasionally a Shure SE535.   Very happy with it.

I guess you figured out that opening the player ain't going to make it balanced. wink.gif

DX90 might be possible to balance. I bet somebody will give it a try
